Design Blog

June, 2007: I start working with a new way of running a modular stylesheet, using classes for one stylesheet, instead of many stylesheets.
January, 2008: I begin to pine for feedback from individuals, like Joe, Bob, and Chris.
February, 2008: I am now preparing for a round of public feedback, and I have finished off the individual feedback.
March, 2008: Now things are wrapping up, with final elements in place, and the filler text is being written.

Free?

This is a free XHTML/CSS template which can be used for any purpose without restrictions or even credit to me required. It is generic and if it needs to work with a certain CMS, it shouldn't be too hard to port. The only thing is that no one else can claim that they hold copyright over this, because it is public domain.

Modular?

Yes, this template is totally modular, with 9 different layouts, 3 different widths, and 10 colour schemes, all of which are totally interchangeable. Even more variation is possible by not putting some tags in the HTML, as the green layout and light layout does.

Template?

This template took a long time to develop, and it should cater to the needs of many, with all of the options it provides. This flexibility should make it as useful as it can be. If you code something that you think would improve it, or if you would like a certain improvement coded, you can suggest it to me (link at bottom of page), and I will probably add it, time allowing.
