This design started with a wish to make no compromises, by building a fluid-width layout which would go beyond the minimalist techniques usually followed. It had to look sharp, use modern techniques, and be built upon clean, semantic code. The ALA fans may recognize sliding doors (among other background-image techniques) taken to the extreme. This work is released into the Public Domain, so that anyone may use it as they wish.
